I am a growing person. I am learning and loving GOD! I am a spiritual WOMAN that is trying to find her way and who is finding herself.
I am also a natural woman (for the third time)! I was natural for three months the first time, five months the second time, but now I have been natural since Jan '06. The first time I went back to a relaxer because I wasn't confident enough in who I was that I let "people" affect my decision. The second time, I was not sure how to care for my hair and was convinced styling would be limited, but I was sooo wrong. This time I made the decision to go natural for many reasons. I feel that my "black folks" hair is beautiful and I am proud of it, I also did it for spiritual and personal reasons. I have come too far to turn back now and I no longer have the desire to perm my hair because that's no longer my definition of beauty. Well thanx for stopping through!
