This is my second time going natural. I did it the first time in 2000 and failed miserably. I didn't understand the concept that going "natural" meant not simply being without a perm. It meant being without the stigmas that our culture is constantly subjected to. Simply put, I understand that I can embrace my naps, curls, and coils. I know that I must now learn to care for my hair type and not just find another, less invasive way of making it straight.

I would like to thank the members nappturality.com for opening my eyes to all the different, beautiful ways to wear my hair. I hope you enjoy my pics.
