First of all, I am so grateful for all of the other curly-haired people whose fotkis and websites that I've stalked over the past few months. Thank you for the ideas, product reviews, photos and support. I no longer feel that me and my curls are alone.

About Me:

I've been natural on and off, my entire life.

I got my first relaxer at 14.

I didn't get a touch up until I was 19.

I'm glad that I experienced a relaxer because I had to see what all of the hype was about. And I can say with confidence that "Relaxed/texlaxed/texturized hair is overrated." Way more trouble than it's worth for me.

In 1996, during my first year of law school, I cut all of my hair off.

I grew it back to shoulder length in 2 1/2 years.

Then I grew it half way down my back.

And on October 12, 2008 I cut it short again!

I like long hair and short hair. The most important thing for me is to have healthy hair and to feel good about it.
