I've been lurking on the boards for a little over 3 years now. Salivating and lusting after nuances of nattiness and the yummy organics of pure natural hair!

To my fearless ladies of Fotki, I would like to congratulate those of you who went through with the BC. When I mean BC, I mean chopping all the way down, or at least an inch away from, the roots. This is not to undermine the ladies who chopped off the permed and fried tips of their manes, as I have no shame in claiming to be one of yall, but this shout out is to pay homage to the exceptionally fierce women who said "Look out world, here I come!"

Mad props to the hair that screams out how it will dare a brutha to say somethin' out the side of his neck about anything other than how strictly cute and nappified the tresses are. To the sistahs who will "ooops up side the head" a brutha if he fails to simply "recognize". No need to re-define yourselves, you have already found your realized "self", and I implore you to remain forever who you are.
