Land of Plenty

For many people Canada is a country they dream of. I'm very lucky to live one of this dreams here on Vancouver Island.
Living in a place that seems to be full of wonders, I was not surprised to learn that the name for this region - Comox - given by native people means "land of plenty".

Let me show you my land of plenty with all its big and small wonders. I hope you enjoy it.

Fuer manche Leute ist Kanada ein Traumland - und ich bin in der gluecklichen Lage auf Vancouver Island einen dieser Traeume verwirklichen zu koennen.
Hier stolpere ich ueber ein Wunder nach dem andern, und es ist nicht weiter erstaunlich, dass der indianische Name fuer diese Region - Comox - frei uebersetzt reiches Land / Land der Fuelle bedeutet.

Lasst euch in mein Land voll von kleinen und grossen Wundern entfuehren und geniesst es.
