- I decided not long ago to go ahead and start my natural journey. It has called me several times but each time I would go back and relax my hair because I felt under pressure of peers and family. Only to find out that once I did finally cut my hair all off (after trying so hard to grow it long with relaxer) that my friends and family were very supportive of me. I was shocked that my friends were all good about it but not so much by my family ( since so many in my family are natural).
