I am a partially retired teacher of biological sciences and English. I currently teach two classes a day (Science of Nature and Advanced Biology) and then it's off to fish, photograph or ride my bicycle or my motorcycle (1976 Beemer R90/6). I also take a lot of sports photos for local newspapers and I take many for the high school yearbook; in addition, I am one of several Staff Photographers at Road America, a road racing track in Elkhart Lake.

I have several types of film and digital cameras. For this site, I use a Nikon D3 and a Nikon D2x depending on application. I also own a Nikon D200 and an assortment of very nice Nikkor lenses. I occasionally use a Nikon Coolpix 5700 and a Canon Powershot A75.
