- I love hair......3 years ago I decided to go natural b/c I was getting bored with my relaxed hair & I had done everything I could to it. I wanted to grow my hair strong & healty so every 4 weeks I went to get treebraids as a transistion style. I did that for a year as I gradually cut my hair off each time I had my braids redone. I was trying to deal with cutting off my long hair but I did & long story story short I cut it all off & had s/l "new growth" & I love it. I had some moments where I wanted to go back to a relaxer but I got a new supply of my kinky-curly & that thought went with the wind......
