I am starting just below APL.
Here is my (very simple)regimen:
Wash, rollerset , deep condition weekly ( thanks Macherie!)
Moisturize & satin scarf nightly
Touch up ( bone straight) every 12 weeks (this is the only time I flat iron)
Reconstruct as needed (joico kpak followed Keracare Humecto!!, or aphogee 2 minute Keratin)
Co-wash with Herbal Essence LTR or Pantene Conditioner every 2 days
I also use a mix of mn and coconut oil to maximize growth. This is giving me 1" per month.
I should also mention Joyce Williams Hair Food as one of the best scalp stimulators i've used so far!
Pictures of my staple products are attached. I 'm not into so much protective styling. I prefer to enjoy my hair that is why I am growing it. I use coconut oil on my scalp often. My texture is 4Aish and I relax with Mizani Butter Blend ( awesome relaxer with great oils).
