>>LOW MANIPULATION this winter! = wash/DC once a week, mixture of GVP Conditioning Balm and/or Aussie Moist with a shot of honey and oils. protein every 3-4 weeks via GVP Joico K-Pak DPR. add leave-in (GVP or HE Hello Hydration) and style.
>>protective styling/hair that goes the distance: chunky two-strand twists --> twistout; twist-n-curls, buns, rollersets and the like
>>other products: silk scarf, satin scarf, satin bonnet, satin pillowcase, wide toothed comb, boar bristle brush, rattail comb, nylon ponytail holders.

summer 2010 regimen:
sew-ins and WET BUNNING!
>>continuing the summer cowash challenge that has benefitted me so much the past few summers
>>cowash with HE HH (or whatever is available when i run out) and t-shirt dry for 10-15 minutes
>>add modified kimmaytube leave-in (giovanni direct leave-in, whole leaf aloe vera juice, castor oil jojoba oil)
>>smooth with modified denman brush into ponytail without pulling the ends all the way through
>>scarf method for 15-20 minutes to combat the "halo" effect
>>at night, take down and twist hair into two large flat twists

summer 2011 regimen:
my simplest yet!
>>cowash with TJ nourish spa, t-shirt dry for 10-15 minutes
>>add more TJNS back into hair, seal with sweet almond oil and bun.
>>when wearing down, add noodle head curling creme or gel and let air dry.
>>shampoo once every 1-2 weeks with giovanni SAS or KC come clean
