I transitioned for 8 months and chopped in August of 2005.

My Regimen:

I really no longer have one but:
- I wash and deep condition when I remember. Usually once every two weeks.

- I detangle every 3 weeks, sometimes 4 if I'm feeling really lazy or busy.

- I like change so I switch products when the desire hits me. But I tend to stick with Cream of Nature Shampoo and do pre-treatments with a mixture of vatica or amla oil and a cheapie conditioner. I also sporadically do henna or amla powder treatments.

-I sleep with a satin scarf every night and if my hair is loose I do braid it up before bed. But I primarily stay in twists. More for convenience with the added benefit of protection. :-) I'll wear a set of twists for 2-3 weeks, and then the twistout for another week.
