Hello fotki world! I have begun my journey back to nappturality, and I am loving every minute of it. I applaud and appreciate everyone who has shared their own journey. You all have truly been an inspiration to me...thank you!

I am currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater majoring in Journalism with an emphasis is advertising and a minor in Public Relations. I am loving life and all that it entails...the learning, heartache, pain, fear, triumph, joys, and the people. I am trusting in God to lead my life, and I am excited about it. I feel so new and free with my hair in its natural state. It's like I am completely me and it's hard to think how I could have ever truly been myself without it. Please join me in my journey of hair and life and I will pray for yours...

***UPDATE***
On May 9, 2008 I started the process of loc'n my hair...I actually never thought I would loc my hair. I love them so much already! I'm very excited about the journey. I do, however, live in a small town in Wisconsin (until I graduate in May 2009) and am not close to many salons who specialize in natural hair...so I GREATLY appreciate, and welcome advise, suggestions, etc. Thanx for the feedback!

****UPDATE***
I recently celebrated my one year loc'versary and my graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. On to work on my MS at Roosevelt University!....pray for growth and wisdom (in life and my locs!)
