- For about seven years I've been natural. I believe I am a 3c hair type. I started my transition in the spring of 2000 and 2 years later I was fully natural.
Before my transition I had a relaxer for 4 years. I received my first relaxer at the tender age of 11. I was so happy to have my "Just for me" lol :) My last relaxer was applied somewhere in the beginning of 2000.
Before my relaxer days I was completely natural just as I am now. :)
My hair is extremely thick and tangles very very easily.
UPDATE 2009: In October 2007 I ended my natural journey with a fresh relaxer (professionally done!). Although I was very satisfied with the results I vowed never to relax again (or at least for another 7 yrs. lol) It was fun while it lasted but I've been 'transitioning' for about 15 months now. We'll see how things go for me this go around. ;-)
