The Bic Chop is complete. At 3:18 pm on this lovely July 30, 2007 I became a natual lady. It cuter than I thought it would be. I smiled from start to finish. I can't wait to experiment with my million and five products. My hair is so soft. I guess all that conditioning and oil treatments really work. I am now focused on keepin my hair moisturized and trying to get some length.
Also before i forget. I add almost everybody i come across as a friend cuz i just love all the different textures, colors, lengths, and styles of our hair. They give me inspiration to release my creative side.


After nearly 2 years of being relaxer free, I decided to return to the land of the straight. The reason that I went natural to begin with was simply because I was bored and wanted to try something different. Simply put I got bored again and wanted to have straight hair. I could have just flat ironed it every time I wanted straight hair, but I dont like the idea of direct heat that often. With my hair now, I can let it airdry and flat iron or air dry and put on a headband. As of yet, I do not regret my decision to relax. I do feel I will go natural again in life, but I don't see myself doing another BC soon. Now I am working on keeping my hair as healthy as possible and getting it to BSL.

Sept. 6, 2009: I have yet again decided to go natural. This transition is so much harder than the first time around. I think it's because the first time, I was exploring and learning. Now I know and understand alot more about my hair and what works for me. This time around it wasn't boredom that changed my mind it was upkeep. For me, maintaining relaxed hair is so much more work and I don't want to do it. Knowing what I now know about my hair, what it likes and doesn't like, being natural is easier and more fun for me to manage. My last relaxer was June 21,2009 and I will grow my hair out for at least 6 months using rollersets, braids, and kinky twists.
