- just started my natural journey (6.12.09). didn't feel like transitioning for too long so i just did a BC after about a month of growing. my hair grew pretty quickly in that one both and i still had to trim it up @ the salon because it was really uneven. So far my curl pattern is 4a and it feels really soft. i'm excited to see where this journey takes me =) and to get support. much love...peace & hair grease
