Welcome to an online post of many of my pictures. Here I try and post images from different shoots that I go on or gigs that I do.

But why do I do all this? Well, I have a lot of fun with it. It is fun to capture images, it is fun to create a happy picture and it is fun to remember… but it is even more fun to tell stories. I like to capture key moments in time that help illustrate stories of struggle, redemption, and/or growth. My passion for story telling started when I went on a trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2003 to teach English. I took my camera along and captured moments that later I was able to tell people about. The images strengthened the already personal story of my own growth, so I have continued to capture these moments. I do not take pictures every day, I do not encounter life changing moments each week, but when I do have these moments, I hope that I have the ability to remember them even more vividly and tell an even stronger story with the help of the still images I create. Not every image that I take is associated with a struggle or growth; many times more than not, they are associated with joy and happiness. I see these emotions as easier to capture than pain, suffering and growth, but none the less, they are great joy to capture…. So I don’t pass up the opportunity.

My personal style has changed drastically to someone who looks at my work often, but to someone who does not they will see a constant theme of people. I feel that people added to any scene makes it several times better than before. If I see that there is a great skyline or sunset, having a human element in the image draws the human experience into the scene. Some of my favorite images include this human element, and most of the time the person in the image is enjoying the beauty that I am also capturing by either sniffing a flower, enjoying the view, or running/biking/swimming/etc in the scene. Some may say that this ruins a perfect nature shot, but I also believe that nature is meant to be enjoyed in order to give glory back to its creator, and capturing someone enjoying it is a pleasure for me.
