Im.a.Star- I STRAIGHTENED MY HAIR
My name is Simone and I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida. GO GATORS!! I have been photo stalking many naturals on fotki... and FINALLY decided to create one of my own to track my transitioning process.

Besides that...
I have decided to go natural for the following reasons:
-Even at its healthiest, my permed hair is hella fragile. It breaks. Not cool.
-I absolutely HEART big, curly, wild hair. I believe thats what Im meant to have.
-I was diagnosed with alopecia areata last summer. I received steriod injections to stimulate the hair growth but highly doubt perming my hair every 6-8 weeks would help the process
-I want to have hair when I'm 45. I believe if I continued perming my hair the rest of my life... baldness could very well by my destiny.
