Hey There!!!

So I'm natural now. A head full of my own coily curls for me to love! I have "different" hair..lol! My entire head consists of coily coffee stirrer size coils. The top is more silky, the right is thinner than the left, but the back has an afroish texture. Originally, going natural wasn't done on purpose but in April 2007 I decided to make it official.
My last relaxer was February 2004. By the time graduation came around in May it was time for another one. As I was running my finger through all of my new growth I felt a scalp full of tiny spiral's that were just so amazing to my fingertips. That summer I was going to be a camp counselor and swimming was a requirement. I definitely couldn't swim with a fresh relaxer put on in May. By the time the summer was over in August, it was to late to turn back....

I straightened my hair 3 years. Getting regular trims and pressing my own hair. I didn't do the BC like so many women who decided to go natural, but wish I had. I would have so much more length than I currently do. I found Nappturality in January 2007. From then I looked at so many women who wore their natural hair as is. I finally got the courage to do the same and haven't looked back since!!
