- March 2005 - I decided to go NATUARL; my decision was prompted by the younger generation, not that 38 is old. :) I started noticing ALL these women with NATURAL Hairstyles, Locs, Twist, Braids, etc., plus I was going to the Beauty Salon EVERYWEEK dishing out $40.00 PER VISIT for her to wash, condition and style my Relaxed hair, and she was expecting a tip! My last Relaxer was February 05. I am planning on wearing Braids Extension and Two Strand Twist Extensions for a while, if I can find someone in Las Vegas, NV that does them and not charge an Arm and a Leg! So, if anyone knows of someone in the Vegas area PLEASE, PLEASE let me know. I have been wearing braids on and off since I was 15 years old in between the Relaxers, so I know how the two hair types can be (FRUSTRATING)!
UPDATE
October 1, 2005 – I finally did it, I got fed up with the two (2) textures of hair so I went to the Barber Shop and got all that damaged hair cut off I officially have a TWA. :) My 39th birthday is Tuesday October 4th; I had been contemplating this move for a very long time. I was afraid when I went into the shop however after it was all said and done, I felt instant gratification (FREE). - General Information
