Greetings to All,

I stumbled upon this site through the site that I go to concerning hair growth info and also where I buy my hair growth vitamins from.

By the way that site is www.growafrohairlong.com I starting using the Mega Multi Hair Vitamin and the Amino Protein For Hair from that site in about December ’05, and I was extremely happy to experience the ability (from taking them both daily) to accelerate my hair growth. Photos of my initial progress can be seen in my first folder, and my hair has grow since the last one and I will take a more recent photo and add that one as well and continue on from there.

So basically I have been using those vitamins and braids to grow my hair. Also I do not perm my hair as often as I use to, and this is easy for me with rotating between braids. I mainly do cornrow braids. Greasing or oiling my scalp with the Dr. Magical oil or grease. I spray Infusium leave-in conditioner mixed with Motion’s leave-in conditioner on it periodically on it as well. I keep my scalp clean with Herbal Cleanse Latherless Hair & Scalp Shampoo's by Organic Root Stimulator. By using these products and tying my hair up at night before bed, I usually keep my cornrows in for a time span of little over a month to 2 ½ months (making sure the whole time to keep my scalp clean and moisturized). When I do get a perm I let my styles do it, clip my ends, and etc… I usually leave it down for about 2 to 3 weeks. During that time when I style it at home I mainly use Aveda products, I try not to use the curly iron so much, and I wash it and deep condition it at least once a week. Also I put my put my scarf on at night just as I do with the braids.

Anyway, I like looking at the different pictures and information that the members have posted on this site concerning hair. I am really thinking about letting my perm grow out because of a lot of the profiles that I have see. Regardless of what I decide to do concerning that, I will to post my hair growth progress and info. My goal is to grow it a little above my waist. Healthy and thick that is…LOL!! Even though I probably will not let it stay that long forever I would like to achieve that goal.
