Im a future nappy gurl living in Atlanta. I attend the Atlanta College of Art and will be transfering to Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta in the fall. I joined this site to show my personal progress to becoming 100% natural. My hair that is :) I got a long way to go, but I thought it would be fun to keep a record and to look back on the major changes that I hope will happen. To me becoming natural is more than just a fashion statment, its a state of mind. To me its a personal choice to stop trying to fit society's mold of what is and what is not beautiful. Black hair is most beautiful when it is its natural state. There is nothing wrong with the hair God gave you. No other ethnicity is ashamed of theirs, why should we be?
