Well I decided to make this page about my family's natural hair journey thus the name "nappy generations". In 2006 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. So after all of her surgeries and chemo last year (2007) she completely lost all of her hair. She wasn't too devastated. My mom had gone natural before and had done the BC before so it was almost like doing the BC!!!! Well when her hair began to grow back she began to say how much she loved her hair like that and that she was not going back to perming. So I began to think about it and so mentioned it to my sisters. Two of them also decided they wanted to be natural and the other didn't want to, but doesn't realize she is pretty much natural already :>. So in this journey you will find my mother (first generation), my sisters and I (second generation), and my beautiful daughter who has always been natural (third generation). And we are proud to be "nappy generations".
