How did you start your locs? With 2 strand twists.
Do you maintain your own hair? Yes, but for a while I did go to my cousin, who is a loctician.
How often do you retwist? About once a month or once every other month.
What products? ACV rinse once a week. Dr. Bronner's (sometimes Dawn dish) soap. Retwist with water. Moisturize with a little olive oil from the grocery store.
How many locs do you have? 129 originally. Combined a few and planning on combining more.
What color are your hi-lights? I'm sorry I can't remember the exact name, but it's a copper-like color. I did not put them in myself.
Who inspired you to go natural and loc? My mother has always been natural, but I also have many, many female relatives and friends who are natural and/or locked. I also fell in love with Noreedoll's locs early in my journey. Other inspirations are Fauryn78, MsButterfli, and pretty much everybody on my fotki friend list.
