- I am a 30-sumthin year old wife and mommy. I recently decided (again) to go fully natural with my hair. I have tried many different hair styles and gone through phases, but now with my first year down, I never imagined my hair would grow so fast. I am done convincing my husband that my hair would be fine in it's "all natural" state, he is now on board and loving running his hands through my soft cottony hair!
I have finally reached my 2-year anniversary is on July 3, 2009 - If you have any tips, feel free to let me know!
This is my first time ever having hair completely natural and free and the encouragement is definitely appreciated.

My last relaxer was Dec. 2006
My official BC: July 3, 2007 - TWA to the max!
Transition Length: About 6.5 months
Length Check:
July 3, 2008 - 1-year anniversary - About 4-5 inches all around after cut.
January 10, 2009 - 18 Months - About 6-7 inches after trim
July 3, 2009 - 2-year anniversary - About 10-12 inches all around (Front - chin length, sides - shoulder length, back below shoulders)
Routine (or whatever you call it):
Cowash 2-3 times per week with TRESemme Conditioner or Aussie Moist
Various styles such as PUFFS, low ponies, twists and twist-outs and Wash-n-go's, braids on occassion along with wigs
Shampoo once a month or as needed depending....

Aussie Moist Conditioner and 3-Minute Deep Conditioner
IC Styling Gel - All the time I must admit because my hair loves it and it's non-drying
Ecostyler Gel - on occasion
Cantu Shea Butter for puffs
Raw Shea Butter
100% Coconut Oil
Black Bar - recently purchased but haven't used on my hair yet.
Taliah Waajid - Mist Bodifer & African Healing Oyl - Love the oil for the body!
Denman Brush for detangling in shower
Current Goals - Health & Growth this year! I hope to achieve the same growth I have in the past year and maintain it. I will definetly be happy with that. Again feel free to express any needed suggestions to assist on my Nappy Journey!
