I am a 23 year old African American female who began the journey to nappturality on March 28, 2003 with my last relaxer. I transitioned for almost 11 months and chopped off my relaxed ends on February 15, 2004. I have been sporting various styles and celebrated my first nappy-anniversary on February 15, 2005. I have worn twists, twist outs, semi finger coils, wash and gos, shake and gos, afros, pony puffs and maybe some other styles I can't remember. I have colored my entire head of hair in May 2005. I am happily nappy.

I'm a current graduate student at NCSU/UNC pursuing a masters in biomedical engineering.
