- Hello well to start my last relaxer was around January 4th 2008, I didn't know what I was doing I wore my hair in Kinky Twist about two times and wore wigs. Now at that time I was not taking care of my hair I just wash it with whatever and was just upset because I could not and did not know what to do with my hair.
Then on Nov. 30th that was my so call big cut but it was the damage ends from my relaxer then from there I still wore my wigs. I was so upset when I did wash my hair and could not manage my hair, that I once told my husband to shave it all off, but he didn't and I am glad. So a few months later my hubby asked me when was I going to wear my own hair plus several people asked when was I going to do it. But as I was struggle with my hair when I didnt know what I was doing, I would look at the ladies on Facebook and Youtube as well as on Fotki to keep me from going back to my relaxer.
As I began to learn what I need to do to take care of my hair. My hubby and I twist my hair and I work them under my wig for a week then I decided to wear them out and I did and I am not going to lie I was scare to wear my hair because I was not sure of how I look. And I am so glad I did I heard good things and people some how love to feel on my hair (friends of course) THEY JUST DONT EXPECT IT TO FEEL SO SOFT LOL, and I am moving forward with my hair and as well as my daughters hair I want them to love the hair and have healthy hair.
