I just was so inspired to see how beautiful natural hair could be. I am currenly 22 and in my final year of nursing school at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am originally from New Orleans and I plan to return there as soon as I complete my degree.
Let's see I recieved my first relaxer at about age 12 at my own request so that my hair could look like everyone elses. I so regret that, but you live and you learn. My hair has been very fine as far back as I can remember so going natural for me was such an eye opening experience about my true hair texture. My last perm was in August 06 and my Big Chop was in June 07. So I trasistioned about 10,11 months. But I basically go off my BC date. My shrinkage is off the chain so if any body has any advice for that. I would so appreciate it. But basically I am a carefree person enjoying both my life and my hair journey. Because there is nothing more beautiful than the real you!!!! ^_^

Hey ladies just wanted to tell anyone who has written me or left me messages that I so appreciate them and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I am currently in my second semester in nursing school in saying that it does not leave me alot of free time to do the things I love, like browse through fotki for hours! Literally ya'll lol!. So sorry if I have not responded to any threads, questions or commets. But do keep the love coming ladies I could sure use it!!!! (9/23/2008)
