N-A-T-U-R-A-L! So, I've been natural for one full year and I'm excited about what the next year holds. I'm committed to doing more deep conditionings..I've been super slack with this. I'm also committing to wearing less puffs to give my edges a well deserved break. Feel free to stop in view my pics an ask questions.
********************************************************************************* I decided to natural b/c I was simply tired of getting my hair relaxed, the burning everytime I got relaxed and my lovely thick hair began to shed over time. The shedding part was a complete NO NO FOR ME!!!! Now, granted I attempted to go natural back in 2005 and was soooooo unsuccessful b/c I had NO clue what to do with the thick, hard to manage stuff sprouting from my scalp.
Note: I'm an alum of SC State University (Get up for the BULLDOGS!!!!!) and there's a group on our alumni social site for all the natural bulldogs called "Back to our Roots, loving our kinks and curls." I was so empowered and moved by these women that I decided it was high time that I commit and take the plunge to become a beautiful natural woman!!! So...here I am. I would be remissed if I don't mention that I've also been encouraged and greatly INSPIRED by the women on Nappturality.com as well as Motowngirl.com. THANKS and I applaud all my natural SISTAHS!!!!
