| | northWord | About me? It's not about me.
I called myself a Christian for 30 years, (Titus 3:3-7) but I was a fraud (Rev 3:16) In short - I wasn't 'representin' Christ in my life at all (Luke 16:15&Prov. 30:12) -until I actually met Jesus Christ through the Word, repented, turned from my sins and gave everything to him, layed it all down at His feet.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17)
I've put my full faith and trust in Him, I want for nothing in this world. I have nothing I call 'my own' anymore, even the very breath I take is on Him. He is the author of birth and death, (Hbr 9:27) and I Thank God every single day that He allowed me to live long enough to have met His Son, Jesus Christ, so that when it is my time to die, I will be accepted into heaven and spend eternity with Him. (Mat 7:21-23)
"And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." 1Cor 2:4&5
It's about Him. Does God know who you are? (Gala.4:9 & 2Cor.13:3-5) You need to ask Jesus about that. (1Cr 6:20 & John 12:44 )
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Rev 3:20 ~ http://knorthword.blogspot.com/ | |
