Hey! I've been running this fotki account for aproximatly a year. At the beginning it was a loc journey then, I realized I had to love and learn to know my napps and curls ( I was borned with my locs).
So, I took it down and started to try more and more hairstyles.

I've been natural for almost all my life and when I turned 15. I begged my mother to let me relax my hair, what she did.I wanted it stick straight so was iron it it every single day. 2 years and a lot of dammage later, i cut all the relaxed hair. I did'nt even know I was doing a Bc so I don't have pictures of this.

I grew up alone with my white mom who did'nt know how to care for my hair so, all I was doing was pony tails (pulling on my roots like crazy). Anyway, when I got to my natural hair, I was always staightening or braiding it so it was always split and dry. I really started to care about my hair health ( not only how it looks) after I took my locs down. I had to do way to much little chops to have it healthy again(One per month, more less). Now that I think it is, I'm starting a new journey, Growing it looong.

For now, My goal is to get my hair bra strap long. Today, april 27 2008, my hair streched is at my collar bones. I give myself two years to get it to this longer.( In an heavenly world it would take me a year to have it waist lenght loll). So I make this vow.

- 1 poo maximum per week. ( Silicon free) Now I use hydra TLC sunsilk poo and anti poof conditionner by sunsilk too.
-I would press my hair (Only) one time per 2 months.(to show the lenght)
- I will never brush my hair dry.
-I will braid or twist my hair for at least 2 weeks per month.
