I love natural hair. I am a mother of two girls and just recently started my second natural journey, this time I plan to be natural for life. I got my first relaxer when I was 12 and at 18 (1999), I cut off my past-shoulder-length hair and wore my hair natural for about 19 months before relaxing it again. I decided that June 2007 was the last time I would relax my hair.... I love both the beauty and freedom of my curly hair. I have just started to get into more natural products for both my hair and skin and the results are amazing. This is still the beginning of my natural journey and I'm loving every moment of it.


My Routine:
Wash Weekly
Co-Wash almost daily alternating between Hollywood Beauty Olive Conditioner
Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose
and JessiCurl Weekly Deep Treatment or Shea Conditioner

Use Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave-In and Kinky-Curly Curling Custard

I normally do a shake and go in which I co-wash/ Apply product/ Shake head (like a doggy)... allow to air dry and sometimes blast hair with a blow-dryer to lengthen curl pattern

Occasionally I will do a braid-out and frequently I will do a puff....

For 2nd day Moisture: I use an Unrefined Shea Butter and Hollywood Beauty Carrot Creme
