 | ***In March I offically passed my one year mark! So I will definitely be updating after my next wash and dc. I'm very happy to say that I have reached full bsl!!! So I'm soo close to my goal. I want to update as soon because in the upcoming weeks I'll be getting a relaxer (and trim and I want you all to see how far I've come in my first year of my hair growth journey. But I'm still not so sure about the relaxer b/c I'm not sure whether I'm transitioning or not. I just wanted to let those of you who have been wondering what's up. I have type 4a/4b hair. I am currently at BSL and my final goal is to achieve MBL. I have been stretching my relaxer since july so, so far I have reached 5 months. I'm not sure if I can hold on much longer, but I definitely won't be getting a relaxer in the very near future.
Weekly Shampooing:
I wash with and deep condition once a week with my Ion hooded dryer. After I finish deep conditioning, I blow dry my hair and then have my roots pressed using heat protectant at ALL TIMES(including inbetween).
Daily styling and maintenance:
I moisturize and seal my hair everyday. I just started baggying and im still trying to decided whether or not it's for me. I don't use heat throughout the week. I usually just pincurl my hair if I'm attempting a style but lately I've just been keeping my hair in a ponytail. I use a satin scarf everynight and I have completely eliminated brushes from my styling regimen.

Elasta QP Mango Butter (used to smooth my edges)

Hairveda Vatika Oil
I'm now really looking into some dominican products such as Silicon Mix, so if anyone has any insite into that, please don't hesitate to let me know!
