Poosmo *Update 12/29/09*

*Update 6/29/09*: I haven't been updating as frequently as I'd like to. Part of that is because I'm picky. Picky about how my hair is done. Although where I am located is full of talented stylists and artists alike, I was too frustrated trying to find someone that wasn't too far out for me to go to. As we all know, things are not good for the country, and gas prices in some areas are like $2.50/gallon. Plus, at my job, hours are dropping like flies stuck in a car!

With that being said, I decided to loc my hair. I don't plan on maintaining a loc journey album, but I DO see myself updating a lot more frequently. I just did some comb twists yesterday (6/28). I am HIGHLY excited about the process. I look forward to having locs, for my imagination for creative styling is already running rampant!

For those that have kept up with my albums, I appreciate the love and comments. I will still stop by your page and leave uberly retarded comments. You all have given me many ideas and helped me through my natural process, post graduating school. For those who will be stopping by for their first time, I welcome you with open arms, and if you have any questions, feel free to message me. I will respond within a reasonable time.

I can't believe it's been 5 years! I never up and decided to go natural. It was just something that happened. I don't think it has quite hit me just yet how GOOD my 'happening' was. Unlike the majority of others with natural hair, I never had the BC. I grew my hair out by wearing cornrows and kinky twists, got my regularly scheduled trims, and pressed my hair out every two weeks, until I was able to take the heat, and do it (press) myself.

My theory: Why pay for it, if you can do it yourself! Practice makes perfect!
