I am so into hair. I love to do hair, and I love getting my hair done. Lately I have decided to grow my hair out. I usually wear it in a neck length bob, because it is sooo hot where I live. I joined Black Hair Media August 08 and I have made so much progress since then. Thank God for sites like this!

I am relaxed 4b. My hair is kinky!!!! I finally figured out how to tame it: )
My current regimen:
shampoo once a week w/bioinfusion rosemary mint
dc with mizani fulfyl or neutrogena triple moisture or neutrogena triple renewal or joico kpac
moisturize with long term relationship leave in, airdry, add heat protectant and flatiron with jilbere (250 degrees). I love heat, lol!

Currently I relax my hair every 8-9 weeks, but once I reach bsl I will relax once every 3-4 months. I trimmed my hair on June 4, 09 because the lunar hair cutting chart said this was a good day for a lengthening trim. I hope I get a growth spurt. In December I am due for another trim and want to trim it on a thickening day.

***June update: I dusted my ends on 6/4/09, I self relaxed on 6/7/09 with silk elements shea butter, and I joined a 6 month bun challenge on bhm. Currently I'm apl, but I should get to bsl in the next 2-4 months. I will be there no later than October.

***July update: I did a nexxus emergencee treatment and straightened my hair. I only need 1.5 inches before I'm bsl. I have been cowashing every other day with vo5 moisture milks. They smell great and give my hair lots of slip.

***August update: I just put a rinse on my hair (beyond the zone color jams raspberry kamikaze), so I can't relax on the 9th at 9 weeks post. I will keep stretching until September. I have about an inch or less before I can claim bsl, so hopefully I can get an inch this month. I relaxed my hair on the 9th! Believe it or not, my color didn't fade. It actually brightened the color a bit. My hair is bsb (below shoulder blade), but I still need 1/2 inch before I can officially claim bsl.

***December 09 update-i got a relaxer on Dec 21 and my hair was at the bottom of my brastrap, but it looked thin and uneven, so i trimmed 2 inches all over (i trimmed a little more from the front since it grows faster). now im grazing bsl, again :)

***July 2010 update-I am grazing mbl. I will claim it once I get my next relaxer in September. I plan on dusting my ends next month to make my hair look fuller.
