My name is Heike, I'm a 27 year old student of Physics at the Free University in Berlin.
About three years ago, my parents bought me a Canon IXUS 800 IS, a rather small but all the more handy and top quality digital camera. Ever since, in my spare time, I enjoy taking photos of everything interesting that crosses my lens:) Thanks to the down-to-2-cm-distance-macro-function of my camera, I could capture details of flowers, insects and other things that I had never seen before.
