I'm currently transitioning to natural. I'm a little over 20 weeks post and I plan on doing the Big Chop after I reach 8-10 inches of natural hair.

CURRENT LENGTH: BSL (chopped 2 inches off 12/15/2011)

CURRENT REGIMEN:
-co-wash once a week
-wear a braidout/bantu knot-out or bun during the week
-only comb during wash days
-NO DIRECT HEAT

CURRENT PRODUCTS
Virgin Coconut Oil
Black Castor Oil
Herbal Essences 'Hello Hydration' for co-wash
ORS lotion for moisturizer
Herbal Essences 'Long Term Relationship' for leave in
LeKair Cholesterol
...still looking for a shampoo and deep conditioner.

I am working towards my final goal of reaching waist length hair. My goal is to reach it by October of 2009. I am currently MBL :0)

CURRENT REGIMEN
-Cowash once a week
-Deep condition once a week
-Moisturize and seal w/ coconut oil every other day
-Protective styling most of the time. My styles of choice are buns or weaves
-Relax every 8-10 weeks.....I will no longer stretch any further as I have noticed it causes tangles and breakage.
-Protein Treatment a week before relaxer
-No growth aids

WEAVE REGIMEN
-I wear a sew in weave anywhere between 4-6 weeks only now. I used to wear them longer...
-I wash, condition, and moisturize using coloring bottles (thanks for the help Reniece!). It makes it easier to apply the product to the braids underneath the weave.
-After removal, I give myself a protein treatment and a deep conditioning treatment.

WAIST LENGTH CHALLENGE
-I am currently in a challenge w/ my fellow LHCF members...so no more big trims until the end of the challenge
-I will keep my hair in mostly protective styles until the end of the challenge
-I will try my best to limit heat to once every two weeks (excluding deep conditioning)
