My name is Rachel and I have decided for the 2nd time around to transition to natural! My hair goal is ultimatly health, but I can't wait for the natural styles that I see on here and many other natural sites :-) I have had a relaxer since before I can remember :-( due to my mom relaxing my hair at a very young age. So with that said, I don't know my natural texture or anything of that nature, but I'm excited to learn. I stumbled across fotki in my research on natural hair care. The first page I found was Ms. Allienicole (*my hair idol*) and from there, many more who have inspired me to not worry and learn more. I am getting my hair braided in medium sized box braids, that aren't to tight (I've learned!!) and am hoping to have a great journey in the hair transition.
