I decided to go natural at the end of May 2007
My last cfc was May 16 2007.
I did a lot of research to find out about the
process of going natural.
I found this website through
nappturality.com and I was so inspired that I decided
to start my own journey.
I'm wondering why I even bothered to have a relaxer!
I take pretty good care of my hair, in my opinion.
I have an assortment of medium/fine/and course textured strands of hair,
but I can say that it is dense over all. I have a mixture of 3c 4a and 4b hair.
I will post pictures of my growth progress.
Since becoming reacquainted with my hair I've learned a lot about it and myself.
Any support is greatly appreciated.
I also write in my JOURNAL, so you guys can check that out too.

I have ordered Jamila Henna summer 09 crop. I got 12 boxes. I know that's a bit much but I have quite a bit of hair and it;s going to take at least 200g
per henna treatment. I'm also investing in a denman brush as I have a terror
of a time getting out all the shed hair. Washing and styling my hair is getting
so tedious. I honestly only wash my hair every two weeks now, and my scalp
is pretty pissed off about this. I have been MIA because I have a sew in at the moment. I'll be taking it out within the next two weeks. So get ready for those updates!!! Also I will be doing hair/makeup vids on youtube. Be on the look out!

I have officially become a henna head. I have henna'd twice.
I only briefly documented the first one. But I will be doing a more
detailed looked at the process I used. BTW It looks fabulous!

I am offically 2 years natural as of December 14. I'm so proud of myself. I've made a lot of progress over these 24 months. I'm going to whole foods and getting myself a cake! Youtube vids will be up ASAP.
