 | I have been napptural since 2001 and loc'ing since 2003. I just decided one day to stop using chemicals. It just made sense. I couldn't think of a single reason why I was straightening my hair when I never really liked the look or process anyway. I wore braids then twists while transitioning. The twists looked like locs and were so beautiful but the debbil taking down so that's when I knew that locs were for me. My loose nappy hair is very thick and I have been told so many times by many people what they would do if they had it. Well, I have been living with it long enough to know that I do not have the time nor patience to play in my hair everyday.
Locs are so me. They represent freedom and creativity. Plus, they are done everyday. Rinse, shake and go. LOL . I love it.
