I am on a new journey or adventure this one is concerning my hair learning to love what God gave me. Nappy hair!! So join me in finding out just how fearfully and wonderfully made I am!!

I started my mental transition in January of 2008. I researched and consulted my hair stylist. August 6th 2008 was the last time I had a relaxer. I transitioned for 3 months and a few weeks. I big chopped on 11/26/2008.

I am currently participating in the TWA Hair Growth Challenge 2009 (Nappturality.com).

I'm 34 and single, I don't have any children. I'm a faithful Christian, saved, sanctified, and Holy Ghost filled.

I'm close to my family. I like to encourage people and lift their spirits. I love to laugh.

I love Jesus, gospel music, singing, reading, movies, self improvement. I have undertaken a couple of journeys along with my natural hair journey.

I'm very active in my church. Singing on the praise team and directing the choir (Sing Anointed Voices). I teach Sunday School and do whatever else my hands find to do. I also write.

I am also learning American Sign Language. We are signing to music at our church. We are called 'Signs and Wonders'. We realize that the deaf has souls too.
