Well i offically went natural on September 23, 2005 but transitioned starting the January of the same year. I'm loving every step of my natural journey because it sets me apart from a lot of the peers. I started off in Jan as stretching my relaxerAfter that I fell in love with the little bit of texture and now I'm hooked. My first reason for going natural was because it was something to do that was different. My second reason was because I was tired of relaxing my hair dealing with burns and wanted to have some overall health to it ( not saying that relaxed hair isn't healthy. My third reason was because no one expected me to cut my hair soo short. This knocked everyones socks off.. Which i continue to do day after day.

Schedule
Due to the length of my hair. I will start washing will plaited so that I reduce breakage.
Pre Poo or just shampoo depending on the weather and texture of my hair ( dry vs. extremely dry)
Conditon with either Suave Coconut with oil or glycerin or Intensive Treatment by Pantene Pro-V protective (curly line)
Air dry.
Style As usual.

I'm attempting to do a protective style challenge so alot of my hair styles will probably be wet sets on straws or rollers.
