- Hello everyone!
I created this fotki to prove to myself that my hair is indeed growing and also to help me on my journey to full shoulder length hair.
I started my hair care journey officially in October 2007. My hair was at its longest in high school (BSL) . Since then, my hair has been through all sorts of damaging processes. I would use glue in weaves, color my hair w/out moisturizing, tight weave ponytails, and too tight braids...The whole nine! lol My last weave (sew in) was what really forced me to reevaluate the condition of my head. I lost sooo much hair and didnt know what to do until i came across BHM. Needless to say i havent looked back since!
EDIT: * I finally decided to transition!!!*
Regimen
- Trim every 3 months
- Use heat 1x a week
- Wash/Co Wash hair 1 x a week
- No weaves or Braids
- Moisturize twice daily w/ Neutrogena Triple Moisture
- Seal twice daily with Vitals Virgin Olive Oil
- Satin Pillow/Scarf to protect edges at night
- Drink water daily
-Protective Hairstyle: Wear Wig every other week

- Biotin 5000mcg (Natures Bounty)
- Skin Hair Nails w/ MSM (Natrol)
