I'm Chinese-Jamaican-Canadian. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica, where I spent a very happy childhood until I moved to Canada at nine and a half years old.
This year, I graduated from McMaster University with a double-major in Linguistics and Multimedia, and a minor in Japanese studies. (Ironically, my Japanese is a hundred times better than my Chinese, and my Chinese impersonation would severely offend any native speaker.)
In July 2007, everything in my life began falling into place. I met someone I truly adore and am moving to California to be with him after I spend some time teaching English in Japan. I'm still committed to building a career on something I'm passionate about, and am continuing to enjoy my life and my growth. I'm also still horrible at online correspondence, so please forgive me if you leave a note and I don't get back to you for a while. I may not say anything, but I always appreciate your words.
And now some info about me that's old but still true...
I'm drawn to anything creative: writing, taking pictures, animating, designing, playing with tools like Photoshop and Flash, singing, dancing, and so on. But I spend more time on self-reflection than anything else. Life's beauty and perfection are my biggest interests. I love watching people do things they're passionate about -- activities that bring them to life -- especially dancing and singing.
I feel SO blessed to have such a wonderful family; Mom, Dad, my sister Mel, and my brother Nick are each truly one of a kind.
Other things I really love: dogs, nature -- balmy days, thunderstorms, autumn and late summer; people, heavenly smells, dreaming, reminiscing, bike riding, gaming, Jamaica...
