Hi and thanks for visiting my Fotki.

I will be primarily be using my Fotki to track my hair growth and personal development goals which are important to me.

After a few false starts and trying to work out what will work for me and my hair, I have revised my reggie as at March 2010 as follows:

Goals for overall health

- Healthy Diet
- Vits & Chlorella
- 2 litres of water a day
- Exercise
- Learn to balance and manage stress

K.I.S.S. Reggie (May 2010)

- Apply Nioxin Follicle Booster to edges and temples every morning
- Apply JBCO/ MT mix to edges and temples every night
- Moisturize and seal nightly
- Mild protein (e.g. Joico K-Pak/ ORS Replenishing pak or Aphogee 2 minute) every week
- Moisture DC weekly
- Massage scalp with JBCO/ MT mix 2-3x week
- Monthly Henna-Indigo treatments to strengthen and colour hair (Lush Cacao Noir with added Indigo)
- BKT treatments every month to strengthen hair and to make hair more manageable.

Hair growth strategies
- Low manipulation i.e. weekly combing and detangling
- Protective styling, cornrows, wigs and large loose braids
- Satin/ silk pillows at night and when lounging on sofa at home
- Leaving my hair alone and not fussing and fiddling with it every moment.

I will be avoiding the following
- Using "direct heat" more than 1x a month i.e. for BKT treatments/ length checks
- Jumping on anymore bandwagons.
