*Transitioned for 15 months, from January 2007 to April 2008!

Well I started my hair journey when I was first born I suppose :) By the time I was six years old I had a heap of hair that my mother kept up very nicely as well as my younger sister who at three had waist length hair! Now my hair was never no waist length lol, but it was atleast mid back throughout most of my childhood. When I recieved my first perm at age 10 I was too excited to be able to wear my hair out and "silky". However years later while in my second year of college, my hair and I just didn't get along and it began splitting and breaking and to my dismay I had to cut to my shoulders :(

My hair health was just sad and that's when I came upon natural hair sites and fotki. There were so many beautiful naturals who made me realize my hair was at optimal health and beauty before my relaxed days! So I transitioned from relaxed to natural hair and I must say it was a truely exciting period. After a 15 month transition I chopped it all off in April 2008! Never felt better, never felt sexier, never felt so free. :)
