I absolutely love hair and hair care. I had a relaxer for years and never knew what my natural hair was like. Don't get me wrong I loved my relaxed hair while I had it I just was ready for a change and decided to go natural.

My last relaxer was July 23,2006, and I did my Big Chop January 2,2007. It was a spontaneous thing I didn't plan on doing the BC until July of 2007, but once I started cutting I couldn't stop. And I am so glad I didn't, I Loved My Natural Hair!!

After having my third child I just don't have the time it takes to keep up with the maintenance. As my hair gets longer it tangles easier and the detangling process is a weekend affair and lots of hair ends up getting ripped out. So I have decided I'm going back to Relaxers. February 22, 2009 I'm back to relaxers.

My fotki dedicated to my hair and helping others to achieve what ever their hair goals may be whether their hair is natural or relaxed. I believe that African-American women can have hair that is just as healthy and long as the next person.
