what: this is an album to document my natural hair journey.
why:
1) relaxers only serve to damage my hair and i no longer want to continue to use something that is ultimately bad for my hair.
2) i've got my first relaxer at age 6 and cannot remember my natural hair. a part of going natural was to see how it was because before BC'ing it was a mystery to me.
last relaxer: august 2006.

My hair is mainly 4a but very cottony. Most styles I do use stretched hair or blown out hair (trying to cut down on the latter though).
