I have to begin by saying that Jesus Christ is the absolute head of my life and having a relationship with Him is the only reason that I am able to be happy while being natural.

With that said, I am "unnaturally happy" because I was the last person you would have expected to be rocking a natural anything! I used to drive THREE HOURS to get my hair relaxed (had I known then...**SIGH**)! I called my biggest cheerleader on the day of my bc and she told one of our other friends what I had done. The other friend was like, "Who?!?! I MUST be thinking of the wrong person."

Well, it's been a little while now (my bc was December 7, 2007 after 4-6 months of transition) and I am in love!! I am excited about where my hair is heading, I love trying new looks, and little did I know that going natural would make me so attractive to my dh (who needs oysters)!

Thanks to all of you natural women out there sporting your beauty for the whole world to see. You give others the strength and courage to embrace their own unique, God-given beauty.

Last Relaxer: June 8, 2007, I think. I thought I had my last relaxer in August 2007, but the June day is my last record of payment at the beauty salon :)

Routine/Products(or lack there of **SMILE**):
I'm the opposite of a product junkie. Because I have battled eczema for so long, I'm very deliberate with regard to what I apply to my hair/scalp. I try to wait at least two weeks between washings, co-washing once a month, and shampooing once a month. The products listed below are the only things I apply to my hair/scalp. If anyone out there has battled eczema and has any advice or suggestions, please let me know. I am always open to trying something that has worked for someone who has dealt with this issue.
