I'm here to share my natural hair journey. After relaxing my hair for 20 years, I stumbled across nappturality.com and quickly got reeled in. It is what caused me to decide to go with my natural hair. The wealth of information there is incredible, because it's first hand, not someone trying to sell you something. After reading there & discovering fotki albums, I decided to go natural the following month. I transitioned with braids from 10/07 and did my bc in 1/08. I haven't looked back and I'm so glad to be embracing the hair that God gave me.

I'll be documenting my hair journey from my bc and beyond. This has been an interesting journey so far, and I'm looking forward to learning lots more and meeting people along the way. It's so much fun seeing other fotkis! Such great ideas and true inspiration. I don't know what I'd do without them!

Even though it's a continued learning process, as to how to take care of it properly, and the styling challenges that I face, (I AM style challenged!!!) I really am so glad that I do not relax my hair anymore. I love my napptural coils and feel so much truer to myself.
