- Lifes Lessons....
Life has taught me to take nothing and no one for granted, because in a blink of an eye it could all vanish.
Some of lifes lessons were simple an joyous.
I look back and a smile spreads across my lips.
Other lessons where painstaking and heartbreaking.
These lessons bring a tear to my eye and an ache to my soul.
Each lesson a journey.
Some with great reward.
Some have left me empty handed.
But with each I have learned.
With only myself as a guide, and no one else to blame.
Only I can take credit.
So each day, I open the book of life, and write a page or two.
Creating chapter after chapter, never knowing the ending.......
I am a cancer survivor, and going through a serious illness has taught me to enjoy each day, live each moment, life shifts like grains of sand through your fingers.
Always learn from your mistakes........They are the building blocks of your future..... Take into consideration others....Don't be selfish....Don't let jealousy cloud your head, be happy with what you have in life....And of course Live, Love, Laugh.
