Life has taught me to take nothing & no one for granted, because in a blink of an eye it could all vanish.
Some of lifes lessons were simple an joyous.
I look back and a smile spreads across my lips.
Other lessons where painstaking & heartbreaking.
These lessons bring a tear to my eye and an ache to my very soul.
Each lesson a journey .
Some with great reward.
Some have left me empty handed.
But with each I have learned.
With only myself as a guide, and no one els to blame.
Only I can take credit.
So each day, I open the book of life, and write a page or two.
Creating chapter after chapter, never knowing the ending.......
I am a cancer survivor, and going through a serious illness has taught me to enjoy each day, live each moment, life shifts like grains of sand through your fingers. ~Live, Love, Laugh~
